Could we use D C Thomson’s assets to help aid Scot’s language teaching in schools?
Solution
After asking teachers what they needed and raiding the most wonderful comic archives for inspiration, we had to give Oor Wullie the role of teacher. Wullie guides pupil’s through a Scot’s audio map, interactive comic making and puzzles in his own unmistakable voice and style.
Outcome
Teacher’s smilin, kids smilin, folk at yon National Library are smilin and Wullie is smilin tae.
